SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University is advancing to the national tournament final site in Wichita, Kansas after defeating Clarke University 2-0 in the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship Second Round on Saturday at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
Rood Schnaider and Sahel Yessen each recorded a goal to help send the Cougars back to the final site for the first time since the 2019 season.

MATCH NOTES
Spring Arbor and Clarke were scoreless after the first 45 minutes despite dangerous opportunities from both sides.
Rood Schnaider broke the deadlock in the 54th minute with his ninth goal of the season.
Then, in the 67th minute, Sahel Yessen doubled the SAU lead. Kaelan Debbage played a ball down the sideline to Yessen, who cut in around a defender before slipping a shot past the Clarke goalkeeper.
Spring Arbor finished the game with a 13-10 advantage in shots.
Jack Cristini made three saves to record his eighth shutout of the season.

Spring Arbor will face No. 1 Dalton State College (Ga.) (18-0-2) in the Round of 16 at the Scheels Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kansas.
