SPRING ARBOR, Mich. — Spring Arbor University Athletics secured a third place finish in the 2024–25 Crossroads League All-Sports Trophy standings, as officially announced the Crossroads League office.

Indiana Wesleyan University and Marian University tied for first place in the rankings with 165.5 points each and SAU secured 118.5 points.

The third place finish marks one of Spring Arbor's highest placements in recent years and is the Cougars' best finish since claiming second place in 2011-12 while the 118.5 points were the most SAU has ever earned in a single year.

The Cougars delivered strong performances across multiple sports, including bringing home regular season conference championships in women's bowling and women's soccer. The women's soccer team and the men's soccer team, both, captured the league's tournament titles and the men's cross country program brought home the trophy at the CL's championship meet.

Points for the Crossroads League All-Sports Trophy are awarded based on each team's finish in the regular season standings, or for a team's finish at the league championship event for the sports of cross country, golf, competitive cheer and indoor and outdoor track and field. A first-place finish earns 10 points, with nine points for second, eight for third and so on, until each team is given a point value.
